MyRickhouse Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 12, 2026

Introduction

MyRickhouse is operated by Two Left Shoes LLC ("Two Left Shoes," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you use the MyRickhouse mobile app, MyRickhouse.com, related support channels, email communications, website forms, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

MyRickhouse is intended for users who are of legal drinking age in their location. If you are not of legal drinking age, you may not use the Services.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated through your use of the Services, and limited technical information needed to operate, secure, and improve the Services.

Account information may include your email address, display name, handle, authentication identifier, account status, profile settings, and timestamps related to account creation, updates, sign-in, and legal drinking age / Terms / Privacy acceptance.

Collection and app-use information may include bottles in your collection or wish list, bottle details, bottle status, dates acquired, randomizer categories, ratings, pour logs, tasting notes, texture selections, taste profile selections, locations you choose to enter, app settings, and related history.

Social and sharing information may include friend requests, friend connections, groups, group membership, shared pours, shared-pour recipients, and information needed to show content you choose to share with friends or groups.

Feedback and support information may include feedback type, message text, support requests, email address, account identifier, app version, device details, and related diagnostic or submission metadata.

Website, launch-list, and email-list information may include your name, email address, selected area of interest, form submission time, browser or device information, IP address, general location information derived from technical data, email delivery status, unsubscribe status, and related communication records.

If we offer branded non-alcohol merchandise through MyRickhouse.com or a third-party storefront, order-related information may include your name, email address, shipping address, billing or payment-related information, order details, transaction history, customer service communications, tax, shipping, and fulfillment information, and related records needed to process or support the order.

We do not intentionally collect precise government identification numbers, payment card information, or date of birth through the current mobile app. If merchandise purchases are offered, payment card information may be processed by third-party payment processors and may not be stored directly by MyRickhouse.

How We Use Information

We use information to create and manage accounts; provide the app experience; sync collection, pour, wish list, tasting, friend, group, and sharing features; operate support and feedback tools; send launch, support, product, account-related, newsletter, marketing, promotional, or sponsored communications where permitted; maintain security; prevent spam and abuse; troubleshoot bugs; improve bottle insights, recommendations, and product quality; process merchandise orders if offered; comply with legal obligations; and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent, trade, share, or give your personal information, email address, account information, collection data, pour history, ratings, tasting notes, friend or group information, or other user data to sponsors, advertisers, partners, merchants, or other companies for their own marketing purposes.

We do not use your personal information to track you across third-party apps or websites for advertising purposes.

Legal Drinking Age Confirmation and Legal Acceptance

MyRickhouse asks users to confirm that they are of legal drinking age as part of account access. We may store timestamps showing that a user confirmed legal drinking age and accepted or acknowledged the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy version then in effect.

This confirmation is used to help restrict the Services to appropriate users and maintain business records regarding legal acceptance.

Email Communications, Newsletters, and Sponsored Offers

If you join a launch list, create an account, submit feedback, contact support, sign up for updates, or otherwise provide your email address, we may send transactional, support, account-related, product update, newsletter, marketing, promotional, or sponsored emails where permitted.

These communications may include information about MyRickhouse, app updates, bourbon and American whiskey industry topics, events, product news, educational or entertainment content, branded merchandise, sponsored content, paid placements, advertising, or links to third-party offers that we think may be interesting or valuable to users.

Sponsors, advertisers, partners, merchants, or other companies may pay us to include sponsored content, advertisements, paid placements, or links in emails we send or on MyRickhouse.com. We do not sell, rent, trade, share, or give your personal information or email address to those sponsors, advertisers, partners, merchants, or other companies for their own marketing purposes.

You may unsubscribe from non-transactional emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in the email or by contacting us. Important account, security, legal, transactional, or support communications may still be sent when necessary.

Sponsored Links, Third-Party Websites, and User Choice

If you click a sponsored link, advertisement, partner offer, or other third-party link, you may leave MyRickhouse and interact with a third party. Your interaction with that third party is governed by that third party's own terms, privacy policy, cookies, tracking technologies, order process, customer service practices, and other policies.

We may know that a user clicked a link in one of our emails or on our website if our email, website, or analytics tools provide that information. We do not provide user app data, collection data, pour history, ratings, tasting notes, friend or group information, or user lists to those third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Merchandise and Non-Alcohol Products

MyRickhouse may offer branded non-alcohol merchandise through MyRickhouse.com or a third-party storefront. Merchandise may include apparel, accessories, barware, coasters, and similar branded items. MyRickhouse merchandise offerings do not include alcoholic beverages.

If merchandise is offered, we may use third-party storefront, payment, shipping, tax, customer support, or fulfillment providers. Those providers may receive information reasonably necessary to process, fulfill, support, refund, or service the order. They are service providers for those operational purposes and are not receiving MyRickhouse app user data for their own marketing purposes.

Ratings, Taste Profiles, and Anonymous Aggregate Retention

When you rate bottles, log pours, or enter taste profile or texture information, that information is initially associated with your account so the app can provide your personal history, recommendations, and social features.

If you delete your account, MyRickhouse deletes or purges user-identifying account data and user-linked activity as described below. However, we may retain anonymous, non-identifying bottle-level rating, texture, and taste profile contribution data to improve MyRickhouse bottle insights, aggregate trends, and recommendations.

Anonymous retained data is designed not to include your user ID, email address, handle, display name, friends, groups, shared-pour recipients, notes, precise location entries, or other direct account identifiers. We do not use this retained anonymous aggregate data to recreate your account or identify you.

Sharing and Social Features

If you use friend, group, or sharing features, the information you choose to share may be visible to the friends, groups, or recipients you select. Shared information may include bottle information, pour information, ratings, tasting details, notes you choose to include, and related metadata needed to display the shared item.

You should only share information you are comfortable making available to the selected recipients.

Account Deletion

You may initiate account deletion in the MyRickhouse app. When deletion is completed, we delete or purge your profile, authentication account, user-linked collection data, pour history, friends, groups, shared-pour data, and other user-specific records that are not required for legitimate legal, security, or business purposes.

After account deletion, you will no longer be able to access the deleted account. Some information may remain for a limited time in backups, logs, security records, or systems where immediate deletion is not technically feasible, but we will handle that information consistently with this Privacy Policy.

As described above, anonymous, non-identifying bottle-level rating, texture, and taste profile contribution data may be retained after account deletion. If you separately subscribed to non-transactional emails, you may unsubscribe using the unsubscribe link in those emails or by contacting us.

Third-Party Services and Service Providers

We use third-party services to operate the Services. These may include Supabase for authentication, database, synchronization, backend functions, and related infrastructure; Resend for email delivery and notifications; Cloudflare Turnstile for spam and bot protection on website forms; Apple services for app distribution, platform functionality, and App Store-related operations; and hosting, domain, analytics, security, support, storefront, payment, tax, shipping, or fulfillment tools as needed.

These providers may process information only as needed to provide services to us, maintain security, comply with law, process or fulfill orders if merchandise is offered, or operate their platforms. We do not authorize service providers to use MyRickhouse user information for their own independent marketing purposes.

Email Unsubscribe and Communication Choices

You may opt out of non-transactional marketing, newsletter, promotional, or sponsored emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in those emails or by contacting us.

Opting out of non-transactional emails does not prevent us from sending important account, security, legal, transactional, purchase-related, or support communications when necessary.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain your account, support the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, process or support merchandise orders if offered, and keep appropriate business records.

Launch-list, email-list, and newsletter submissions are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide updates, manage subscriptions and unsubscribes, and maintain business records. Feedback submissions may be retained to evaluate, improve, and support the Services.

Anonymous aggregate bottle-level data may be retained indefinitely because it is not intended to identify a particular user.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children and Minors

MyRickhouse is not intended for children, minors, or anyone who is not of legal drinking age in their location. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 or knowingly permit minors to use the Services. If you believe a child or minor has provided information to us, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

Your Choices

You may update certain account information in the app, delete your account through the app, contact us about privacy questions, unsubscribe from non-transactional emails, ask to be removed from the launch list or email list, or request assistance with information associated with your account.

Depending on your location, you may have legal rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information. We will respond to applicable requests as required by law.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and may provide additional notice where appropriate. Continued use of the Services after an update means the updated Privacy Policy applies.
